How do you help make Shell Stations a destination that helps Goers, Go Well? By having hidden prizes at every
single station. So we created an Augmented Reality app where people can hold their phone up to any Shell sign
and see the shell open to reveal different things: like a coupon for free cup of coffee or $.10 off each gallon of gas.
A lot of places offer free WiFi when you’re in their store or location. But Shell customers are spending most of their time on the road, not at the filling station. So to help their journey Go Well we offered mobile WiFi that drivers can take with them and use on the road. They can pick the mobile WiFi devices at any Shell Station and return them to any Shell station. That should
definitely help more trips Go Well.
There are so many different types of goers out there. So,we allowed each one to announce to the world what type of goer they are. Using an AR filter, people can hold their phone up to their car and apply different skins. For example, there's a filter that turns a car into a taxi for the Mom Taxis out there. There are also rocket boosters for the Every Lane’s the Fast Lane people out there. People can then post them on social media and encourage their friends to post their Goer persona as well.
The way someone wants to Go Well might change moment to moment. One day they might be looking to
get there as fast as possible. Another day they might want to see some sights along the way. So, we
created a tie-in with Waze to have different ways to Go Well. How do you want to Go Well today? Go Well
quickly? Go Well with sights? Go Well with fun? It's completely up to you.
Natural disasters can devastate the communities they affect. These disasters usually bring a number of hardships, fuel shortages being
one of the most difficult ones to deal with. So, we’ll bring Shell to these areas with the mobile Shell Fuel Stations and Stores. Besides
bringing much needed fuel they will also be a place for people to charge cells phones, as well as get water, ice and food items. Just
another way Shell is helping the world Go Well.
